EWW! What cruelty!
This is why I hate (and am fascinated) by ants.

Ants are so disgusting, I swear. They're like the human race, only a lot worse. They keep slaves, eat their own kind, work themselves in backbreaking labor, kill other queens, etc. In this particular "mating ritual", these ants are literally gang-banging and raping this "sausage fly" alive. Somehow it doesn't surprise me. Those things could eat an elephant. If I told you how though, you'd have to tape your nostrils shut.

Why can't fiction or any medium like film ever explore these issues? Wait, I forget, Hollywood doesn't like disturbing truth. Doesn't make as much cash as cutesy blue/bronze/puke-yellow ants. Oh well. Might as well keep this for reference. I like going "EWW!" from horror once in a while. Too bad mainstream stuff would only cheapen it to pointless gore.
