This is the infamous Poo/Paula fic I wrote on AIM for Jeshi that spawned a billion things. Like:

A. Puri converting herself and Jeshi into Poo/Paula.
B. Puri writing hetsmut for the first time.

This is why I hate (and am fascinated) by ants.

Ants are so disgusting, I swear. They're like the human race, only a lot worse. They keep slaves, eat their own kind, work themselves in backbreaking labor, kill other queens, etc. In this particular "mating ritual", these ants are literally gang-banging and raping this "sausage fly" alive. Somehow it doesn't surprise me. Those things could eat an elephant. If I told you how though, you'd have to tape your nostrils shut.

Why can't fiction or any medium like film ever explore these issues? Wait, I forget, Hollywood doesn't like disturbing truth. Doesn't make as much cash as cutesy blue/bronze/puke-yellow ants. Oh well. Might as well keep this for reference. I like going "EWW!" from horror once in a while. Too bad mainstream stuff would only cheapen it to pointless gore.

I blame zuki_chan, Jean and others for increasing my fascination with Pokey. Not my favorite character, but I'd be lying through my teeth if I said he wasn't one of the best villains ever. *______* That, and I've come to really like Gyiyg/Pokey. I have seen cases in which gay men in real life are marginalized by yaoi fans: if I had a nickel for every time a middle-aged, portly gay couple who have beards and body hair have been chased down by a crazy fangirl with a copy of Gravitation in her hand, screaming “FAGGOTS!” at them, I would be a very rich man.

I've seen this too. A girl blatantly cooing over "the hawt yaoi!!1!" and going "EW if ur gay or dyke dun friend my journal!1!11" in the same breath. My head exploded; how could you like yaoi and at the same time despise real-life homosexuals? Oh wait, this is marketing. Naturally all the men are bishounen and fall into one or more stereotypes. If it's not their icicle seme or sparkly uke whose beauty makes Apollo look rusty, it's bad, icky and gross.

I'm so tempted right now to draw art of all my favorite BL ships that involve an "ugly" person in them. Except I'd always think it's an insult to call him ugly; in reality, I think he looks hot. Maybe it's because *GASP* character appeals to me more and I don't see appearances as a detriment but another way of writing and looking into a character's psyche? Can't do that with fangirls, I guess. They're so bubble-minded and ignorant they don't have the capacity to think.

I hate feeling so tired. :( But anyway! Yesterday Puri got to play Smash Bros. Brawl in the town square~~~~

There's been all this news on Bioware's Sonic RPG. Yet I can't bring myself to care. Not that I dislike Sonic. It's just that I don't want to hear anything and want to distance myself from the crazies and online fandom as much as possible. Just sick of it in a "urgh I'm burnt-out" kind of sick-and-tired. I'd rather just curl up in a tiny ball and imitate our old pet hedgehog Sylvie. I don't even want to talk about Sonic. As in, anything in general. Unless you want me irritated.

I guess what I'm trying to say is fandom made me tired and I'd rather hang out with psychic kids and bloodthirsty barbers. Yep. That's who I'd rather snuggle up with now. At the moment.
